which one is the most popular group buy webiste in Australia?

16 Sep

The end of last year Google offer US$6 billion to buy the group buy website Groupon.com but was rejected. This year Australia groupon logon. Now it’s last quarter of this year, what’s the result? Here is the rates of several big group buy websites in Alexa (search result of today).

groupon.com.au             116
Spreets.com.au                207
Scoopon.com.au             234
Cudo.com.au                    297

Surprised? Australia groupon is the first one. Cudo below to NINEMSN and they almost have commercial on TV everyday but the result is not that good. Maybe the main target market for group buy website is young people, they just don’t watch TV. Spreets belong to Yahoo7 they are quite good.

How about rest of group buy website?

groupgo.com.au                         1,332
whypayfullprice.com.au         1,463
offerme.com.au                          2,711
dealme.com.au                          1,324
JumpOnIt.com.au                  15,834
ouffer.com.au                          23,470
livingsocial.com.au              47,021

Obviously these web sites far from the top 4.If you really want use group buy website, I think you can forget these website.   My personal bad experience on Spreets tell me just be careful on group buy website. Actually Have a look of this article from The Age you will know I’m not the only one who not happy about group buy.
